Please join SummitOne Credit Union for the FREE 5th Annual Member BBQ. This year, the theme is "Go Green!" We can all do so much more to recycle, reuse, and reduce costs. One example is getting your SummitOne statement online or eStatement. It's faster, more secure, and reduces paper, printing, and postage expenses.

SummitOne is Going Green!

SummitOne Credit Union has implemented a cost-savings program to reduce expenses and to become more GREEN or environmentally friendly. Our staff is continuously submitting ideas to improve efficiency, recycle, and reduce operating costs while still providing excellent member service.

Food

Members will be served grilled hamburgers and hot dogs with all of the condiments, chips, watermelon, Creamies, and drink! Members can dine outside on the grass or patio, or inside the Education Center.

Shredding

Bring all your personal and confidential documents for secure shredding including old bank statements, check books and registers, legal records, bills, tax information, contracts, medical records, credit solicitations, etc. If you have documents with sensitive personal information, then shredding is highly recommended to protect you from identity theft.

Electronics Recycling

Gather up all of your old electronics, phones, batteries, computers, printers, cables, appliances, and more for safe recycling. Due to the hazards of recycling TVs and monitors, there is a per item fee of $5.00 for screen sizes 17" and under and $10.00 for sizes 19" and over. Electronic waste accounts for 70% of all toxic waste in landfills like lead and mercury. Materials such as copper, aluminum, glass, plastic, and more can be safely recycled.
